Off The Map

Tanzania, not. Timbuktu, not. Tasmania , yes, is a part of Australia, although the tiny island state is often left off the map.

Some of us don't mind.

A journey through Tasmania is ever so different from a journey to Australia, even the outback. I've had the privilege to spend time on this southernmost island in the southern hemisphere, and on to northern island or mainland as the rest of Australia is known as to Tasmaniacs. I much prefer Tasmania, which is the size of West Virginia and Wyoming back where I hale from.
