Drifting Dee here. I exited Australia long enough to go offshore and apply online for another visa which allows me to continue dee-touring around my adopted homeland. As a destination travel writer and producer of tourism websites, what could be better than a passport to passion and paradise?
Adrift in Auckland for the duration of this process, I've discovered why so much of the world envies New Zealanders and wants to migrate here for the lifestyle and spectacular scenery. It's unlike any where else in the globe, and its beauty bankrupts the English language.
The people are genuinely friendly, relaxed, and easy to engage in interesting conversations. Canada may have beaten them out for the honor of "Most Friendly Country to Visit," but it can't be long till they win back the title.
Is it possible I'm a poly? In love with two places at the same time? Australia & New Zealand. Why not. We'll see how it goes, back and forth between the two, making a living enjoying the good life. Tough job, but I know no one better to give it a go!
