After so many wonderful days in a row, along came Thursday as a day of rest and reading. Turned off the cell phone and laptop and went to the Blue Moon Cafe for a sunflower seed bagel and cuppa Joe. Took a drive up to Crescent Bay to see about a short paddle around the lake - but too choppy for my city slicker fitness state.
The Adirondack chairs by the lake lured me and my action novel over for a short while instead. Apparently I'm suffering from typical New Yorker syndrome of not knowing how to relax after the hectic pace of subway commuting and what not. I managed a few chapters before I decided it was time for a nap back at my Craig's List share house pad.
Someone had the nerve to SKYPE me and PHONE me to get me out of bed, but my own fault for turning them back on.
